Juriel Simon-Pierre Hangi was born in 1991 into a Christian family, with his father serving the Lord Jesus as a Pastor in one of the major Pentecostal denominations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His journey with the Lord began at a very tender age when he experienced God’s power, leading him to surrender his life to Jesus Christ as his Savior and Master.

Juriel is a university graduate with a specialized Master’s Degree in Infrastructure and Civil Engineering. With his training, he serves as a project manager in the airport and road infrastructure sector in the DRC. He offers innovative solutions to the complex challenges of his community, following the entrepreneurial legacy of his extended family.

Juriel is called into Christian ministry, and his passion is to inspire and build the younger generation. He does this through individual coaching, training, and other leadership development platforms. His desire and vision are to raise leaders in his community who will bring transformation and holistic development.

Throughout his school years, Juriel demonstrated leadership by actively participating in extracurricular activities and holding delegate positions among his peers. He was deeply involved in youth ministry, taking on various responsibilities within his Baptist Church in the DRC. Continuing to refine his leadership skills, he proactively worked in India to build youth leaders in churches (House of Praise International Church – HPIC, Grace Church Noida, etc.) and university fellowships.

Following a journey in leaders’ development that began in 2013 through teachings and training, Juriel’s passion to equip leaders compelled him to join LeaderSource SGA ministry in 2022 as one of the key persons to launch the work in the DRC. Since 2024, he has served as an Associate Staff, maintaining his dedication to working in the region and nurturing the development of healthy leaders to build strong communities and positively impact the unreached, aiming to transform their nations.

As a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ, Juriel sees his life as a blessing to nations, reflected in sacrificial service to his people. He embodies a vision of influencing his generation through mentoring, counseling, and empowering young adults and ministers of the gospel.

Currently residing in the DRC, Juriel enjoys countryside living, tourism, and reading.
